NCSU basketball

N.C. State’s basketball seasons are in full swing. Make sure to request student tickets. We just beat Duke, so it looks like the season is going to be an interesting one.

Women’s March On Raleigh

The second annual Women’s March will be downtown on Saturday, Jan. 20. After attending last year, I highly recommend going. There is a march in the beginning, speeches and then tabled companies at the end for you to browse. It starts at 9 a.m. on Salisbury Street. More info here.

Harry Potter Festival

A Harry Potter Festival is planned downtown for the same day as the Women’s March, on Jan. 20. There will be drink specials and other wizard-related activities around Fayetteville Street. You can dress in your best Harry Potter gear. Get tickets here.

Trivia nights

Attend some of the various trivia nights around Raleigh during these cold months. Brixx Pizza in Cameron Village hosts trivia every Thursday night. La Stella Pizza downtown has specialized trivia nights – Gilmore Girls Trivia is set for Wednesday, Jan. 31.

Fetty Wap concert at The Ritz

If you like Fetty Wap as much as my friends do, you should check out the Feb. 18 concert. Ticket info here.
