Tuesday marked the grand opening of the new Target on Hillsborough Street — a perfect location for N.C. State students. It’s a great chance for students who don’t have a car or who don’t want to drive 20 minutes to be able to shop at Target.
Several N.C. State students work at the new store, and they were excited to be at Tuesday’s grand opening.
Immediately coming into the store, you can tell that it’s focused on college students, specifically NC State students. The store has quick food, bike maintenance products, home and cleaning supplies, movies and technology, and even N.C. State merchandise. It’s a convenient store since Target is selling things that students would previously need to go to a local grocery store or pharmacy for.
Although the store is small and very much feels as if it’s made to fit in a big city, the store has exactly what each college student could potentially need. It’s also directly across from DH Hill Library, making quick trips to the store easy and efficient.
